Our mission is to foster an inclusive and collaborative community focused on empowering all identities to creatively express themselves through a capella music. We encourage this expression through teamwork, workshops, rehearsal, and performing in a variety of venues both on Western’s campus and in the broader community.

Don’t miss our quarterly concerts on campus and other performances around town!

Please consider joining our wonderful community!

All Aboard

We are the non-audition mixed a capella ensemble at Western Washington University. All Aboard has been performing since 2009. As a non-auditioned group, we have people with an incredibly broad range of musical experience. It’s a big group, ranging anywhere from 20-45 members depending on the year or quarter, but we keep things fun and make it a place for people who love music to come together and sing. Anyone can join the group at the beginning of any quarter. Don’t miss out on any of our gigs throughout the year, or when we perform at the end of every quarter for our club concert, along with Rebel Clef and Major Treble. We’d love to see you there!

Major Treble

Started in 2009 under Hazel Bell-Robinson, WWU’s treble a capella ensemble, Major Treble, has served as a creative outlet for students with a passion for music. As a group, we pride ourselves on sisterhood, women’s empowerment, inclusion, freedom of expression, glitter pots of magic, and creativity. Some of our members are majoring in music, while others are pursuing a variety of different studies, and not all of us are students. The ensemble covers a variety of genres and songs – many of which we arrange ourselves. Major Treble performs regularly for the local community and we’re always looking for more opportunities to share our music!!

Rebel Clef

Rebel Clef, originally known as Undefined, is WWU’s bass a capella group. Our sultry tunes have been gracing Western’s campus since ’08, started under the direction of Matt Bell, as a way to receive funds through Western for sheet music. Since then, we have gone through a slew of directors and members in the group. We are still just as excited as back in 2008 to get out into our community and be a face of Western Washington University through music.
